My camera was an all-acces pass all semester. I could walk into the teacher's lounge and use the microwave without anyone questioning. Whenever a teacher said "clear your desks," my camera was exempted. I could take pictures of whatever, whenever. I gained a reputation as the camera guy. Many freshmen STILL will only recognize me if I have my camera with me, and my camera gained a reputation as a camera that can make ANYONE look good. And it could, IF it wanted to.....
Now that the year is ending, I will start posting my work from the school year. A few of the more stellar images have already been posted, but I have more than 1000 more that qualify as good enough to post. It will take a while before I feel that I have finished posting photos from the school year.
The photos from the school year are ALL spontaneous and photojournalistic in nature. The photos in the series will be labeled as "PJ: ____TITLE____". They were not scheduled or set up, and they were not altered any more than cropping, levels, and saturation adjustments. A few of the shots are posed, but I had no part in posing them. The subjects saw my camera already pointed at them and they posed themselves.

Other news:
-I got a Sigma 400mm 5.6 APO Macro. It rocks. Hard. A picture of it WILL be posted.
- I have now taken more than 18,800 photos with my beloved Nikon D40
-Ridis: I believe it is your turn.....
